With Biostile Protein Digest, digestion begins in the mouth. Enzymes from already partially processed food pass to the front of the stomach, where it is digested by oral enzymes and enzymes in the food, and also before gastric juices are shed. The food then passes into the small intestine, where the digestive juices of the pancreas neutralize the acid in the stomach, ultimately transforming the food into a form that the body can absorb into the bloodstream. However, if food is not sufficiently digested in the large intestine, undigested proteins rot, sugar and undigested fats ferment.
